Job summary

Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam invites you to an internship in the Front Office, gaining exposure to both operational and management responsibilities within a luxury setting. You will handle front desk tasks, collaborate with guest-facing teams, and participate in quality initiatives and leadership discussions.

You'll join a dynamic team dedicated to service excellence, benefitting from cross-training across hotel departments and potential opportunities within the Accor network.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality-related study program.
• Strong interest in luxury hospitality, guest experience, and hotel operations.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is considered a plus.
• Proactive, organized, and eager to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Front Desk Agent tasks including check-ins/check-outs and daily checklists.
• Work with the Opera Property Management System.
• Participate in departmental projects, quality initiatives, and management meetings.
• Collaborate with Guest Relations, Butler, Concierge, and Night teams to understand the guest journey.
• Support purchasing requests and ensure operational materials are available.
