Job summary

CHANEL in Amsterdam is seeking an Operations Manager for the fashion boutique to drive performance and ensure smooth daily operations. You will lead the back-office and collaborate on strategic retail projects, with a focus on financial health, stock management, and client experience.

The role requires a 5+ year track record in retail operations and team leadership, advanced MS Office skills, and fluency in Dutch and English (French a plus). Fulltime, on-site role based in/around Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Significant experience (5 years) in retail operations and team management.
• Analytical mindset with data interpretation expertise and precision.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Dutch and English are mandatory; French is a plus.
• Fulltime availability and living in/around Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the financial health of the boutique and monitor retail indicators.
• Pilot operational efficiency and implement projects to enhance performance.
• Oversee cash, stock, care&repair and alteration activities.
• Lead the back-office team, recruitment, leadership and performance goals.
• Support RFID rollout and the introduction of new tools where needed.
• Convey Chanel’s House Strategy to boutique teams and stakeholders.
