Job summary

CHANEL in Amsterdam is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily boutique operations, monitor turnover and stock, and drive initiatives that improve the client experience and financial health.

Reporting to the Boutique Director, you will supervise cash, stock, care&repair and alteration activities, roll out strategic retail projects, and motivate back-office teams to deliver luxury service while upholding Chanel standards across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing boutique operations, including cash handling, stock control and client service.
• Ability to analyze turnover, stock levels and footfall to drive corrective actions.
• Strong communication, leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily boutique operations, ensuring Chanel standards and exceptional client experience.
• Monitor turnover, stock availability and security procedures; optimize checkout flow and inventory.
• Roll out strategic retail projects (RFID, new tools) and ensure smooth implementation across teams.
• Motivate and develop back-office teams (cash, stock, care&repair and alteration) to meet targets and deliver luxury service.
