Job summary

Guerlain in Amsterdam is seeking a Beauty Consultant to deliver a luxury, personalized client experience while driving sales. The role is part-time (0.6 FTE) and requires extensive product knowledge and a strong service mindset.

You will report to the Counter Manager and collaborate with the team to meet targets and maintain Guerlain’s premium brand standards. Fluency in Dutch and good English are essential, with prior cosmetics retail and make-up artistry training highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Make-up artistry training (commercial application) and/or beautician certification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience, preferably in cosmetics or luxury.
• Strong sales and customer service mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise, demonstrate, and sell Guerlain products to clients, delivering a luxury and personalized experience.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets (sell-out).
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to increase loyalty and repeat business.
• Proactively approach clients and increase direct contact to grow the customer base.
• Anticipate client needs and provide tailored beauty solutions.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service at all times.
