Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium, Amsterdam, is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to lead a designated pastry section under the Executive Pastry Chef. You will supervise daily production, uphold recipe quality, and ensure strict hygiene and cost control while mentoring junior kitchen staff.

The role requires two years in a similar pastry position, hotel kitchen experience, and strong English skills. You will join a luxury, globally recognized brand with opportunities for career growth and staff

Qualifications

• Recent/current experience in the same position (Pastry Chef de Partie) for at least two years.
• Experience in (hotel) pastry kitchens through education or work.
• Passion for high-quality cooking.
• Ability to work with culinary teams.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Familiar with hygiene codes and HACCP regulations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervising day-to-day operation of a designated pastry section; overseeing all production.
• Delivers highest quality and precise dishes following recipes and standards.
• Maintains hygiene standards and cost control.
• Mentors junior kitchen staff and supports their development.
