Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Admin in Amsterdam to support processing shipments safely and efficiently, focus on customer satisfaction, and handle administrative tasks within the warehouse.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills for re-weighing freight. Prior warehouse experience and English language proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent level of education

Responsibilities

• Ensuring documentation for shipments stored within the warehouse is up-to-date, complete and fully digitized.
• Checking and registering shipment documentation and confirming receival to shipping companies.
• Support where needed with tracking of shipments.
• Support the warehouse with the creation and adjusting of documentation with regards to handling and splitting shipments.
• Re-weigh freight / cargo as directed; basic math skills required.
• Ensure all data required for invoicing is captured in the system.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies.
• All other duties as the business demands deemed necessary.
• Follow instructions to execute Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable).
• Contribute actively to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe/unsecure/unhealthy conditions and possible improvements.
