Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to process shipments safely and efficiently, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will load and unload trucks, pull and stage outbound goods, and operate a sit-down forklift while following safety policies and maintaining accuracy in documentation. This role requires basic math, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy
• Previous warehouse experience
• Reach/counterbalance truck experience/certification
• Detail oriented and thorough in a fast pace environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Manual handling skills
• Able to use computers and main software packages
• Able to operate and control equipment
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Patient and able to stay calm under pressure
• VGB security clearance or ability to obtain it

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks
• Pull and stage outbound goods using loading manifest
• Check in/load out domestic and international freight
• Place freight away in designated areas
• Drive sit-down forklift safely
• Re-weigh freight/cargo with basic math
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies
• Use a computer and main software packages competently
• Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments per applicable laws (as applicable)
• Report unsafe conditions and propose improvements
