Job summary

GXO Logistics in Lelystad is seeking a hands-on Logistics Maintenance Supervisor to keep our automated warehouse running safely and efficiently for a leading global fashion brand. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a rotating on-call schedule to address urgent maintenance issues.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering or related field, and has strong Excel, SCADA, Power BI and SolidWorks skills, plus experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering or related field (e.g., automation)
• Knowledge of machines, equipment, and warehouse facilities and repair methods
• Experience with suppliers such as TGW, KNAPP, DUERKOPP, VANDERLANDE or DEMATIC is advantageous
• Experience managing multiple projects with tight timelines
• Vendor interaction and negotiation with technical suppliers
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience with warehouse management systems and tools (Sorter, Logistics Engineering, Automated Warehouse, Production Planning, Power BI, SolidWorks)
• Self-driven, resilient, and able to thrive in a challenging environment
• Able to work in a diverse, international environment

• Ability to monitor and uphold high service quality; team leadership of outsourced teams

Responsibilities

• Optimize maintenance services, standardization and creation of procedures
• Monitor implementation using KPIs
• Ensure execution of planned and unplanned maintenance in designated area
• Check equipment availability and identify systemic improvements
• Generate reports and identify improvements
• Oversee maintenance activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Enforce safety procedures and company policies
• Monitor quality control of preventive and corrective maintenance
• Collaborate with Operations to meet goals and GXO objectives
• CMMS and SCADA optimization
