Job summary

Hexion is seeking a Logistics Field Supervisor to lead a safety-critical site in Edmonton. You will manage hourly staff, drive safety culture, and ensure production targets are met while maintaining SAP entries and compliance with quality and environmental standards.

You will coordinate with maintenance and QA teams, conduct safety investigations, and champion continuous improvement while ensuring proper training and competency across the crew.

Qualifications

• Minimum College Diploma in Chemical Technology or Industrial category.
• Experience in a chemical plant or process facility preferred.
• Field level loading/unloading experience is an asset.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a rotating shift of hourly associates across multiple production departments.
• Drive safety through proactive meetings, investigations, and compliance with permits and SOPs.
• Act as Incident Commander during after-hours incidents and ensure proper reporting.
• Maintain ISO 9001 conformance and ensure clean, organized work areas.
• Schedule personnel to meet daily production plans and coach staff through training and goals.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, QA, Logistics, and other departments to meet production targets.
• Provide leadership in 5S programs and continuous improvement activities.
• Oversee compliance with LOTO, permits, and environmental procedures.
