Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Quality, Environmental, Safety and Health Specialist to support the Amsterdam region, Oude Meer. The role focuses on developing, implementing and continuously improving the QESH management system within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will collaborate with site leadership, operations, contractors and employees to promote a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement across health, safety, quality and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with strong analytical skills.
• Experience managing QESH systems and ISO standards.
• Minimum 5 years in a complex, multi-disciplinary organisation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the QESH management system ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, corrective actions and assessments across operations and contractors.
• Conduct risk assessments, incidents investigations and identify robust corrective actions.
• Monitor QESH performance data, trends and provide practical recommendations to management.
• Deliver QESH briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to employees and contractors.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 audits and external reviews.
• Champion sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and environmental impact.
• Support emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.
