Job summary

ADM in Oss, Netherlands is seeking an experienced HSE Manager & Production Supervisor to lead safety and production on the shop floor.

This dual-role combines developing HSE policies with hands-on supervision of daily operations and ERP deployment for the site's Infor M3 transition.

Ideal candidates will have strong HSE expertise, production sense, and the ability to drive improvements across functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HSE management within industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience supervising or supporting production operations.
• Hands-on mindset with willingness to work closely with production teams.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems; Infor M3 is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve HSE policies, procedures and management systems in line with corporate standards and local legislation.
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, workplace inspections and internal audits.
• Lead HSE training, awareness campaigns and emergency preparedness activities.
• Monitor and analyze HSE performance, identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging employees and encouraging accountability across the site.
• Serve as the site's HSE expert and key point of contact for all HSE-related matters.
• Support the Operations Manager in coordinating day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.
• Maintain a strong shop floor presence and provide practical support to resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate production planning, reporting, documentation and other operational activities.
• Ensure production is carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor production performance and drive process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to production personnel and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics and other departments.
• Assist with deployment and daily use of Infor M3 ERP during site transition.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on professional to join our Operations team as HSE Manager & Production Supervisor.

This is a unique dual-role opportunity for someone who combines strong expertise in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) with a genuine passion for manufacturing operations. Beyond ensuring the highest HSE standards, you will play an active role in supporting daily production activities and become a trusted partner to the Operations Manager in overseeing the site's operations.

As part of a small and agile team within an international organization, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact by strengthening our safety culture, improving operational performance, and supporting the site's transition to the Infor M3 ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environment

• Support the Operations Manager in coordinating and overseeing day-to-day production activities.
• Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, providing practical support and helping resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate production planning, reporting, documentation and other operational administrative activities.
• Ensure production is carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor production performance, identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to production personnel.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics and other departments to ensure efficient collaboration.
• Support the deployment and daily use of the Infor M3 ERP system, assisting colleagues during the site's transition and contributing to process optimization.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in HSE management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting or supervising production operations.
• A hands-on mindset with a genuine willingness to work closely with production teams.
• Experience leading operational improvement projects and driving change.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Infor M3 is considered a strong asset.
• Experience in a food, feed, minerals, chemicals or other regulated manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of HSE legislation, standards and best practices.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing strategic and operational responsibilities.
