Position: QESH Officer (EHS Coordinator)

Location: Rijsbergen

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as the on‑site expert for health, safety and environmental matters
• Executing EHS Plan/Program projects as directed by the EHS Program Manager (linked to any customer requirements)
• Driving incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Coordinating risk assessments and helping implement site‑specific safety measures
• Supporting emergency response planning, drills, and site preparedness
• Tracking EHS performance data and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Building an engaging, proactive safety culture across the operation
• Coordinating and conducting EHS inductions and site‑specific safety training for all employees
• Coordinating the closure of all EHS observations and actions, including Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and those stemming from Leadership Walks
• Maintaining records in accordance with ISO9001 standards

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in an EHS / HSE / SHEQ / Safety Coordinator role, ideally within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or a fast‑paced operational environment
• Strong knowledge of health and safety compliance and operational risk management is essential
• Confidence handling incident investigations, audits, and corrective action tracking
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels – Dutch is desirable
• Proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently on site
• Experience delivering training or inductions is highly desirable
• Relevant EHS qualification/certification preferred
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft 365
• Own transport required
