Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Logistics Associate for our Service Center at DePuy Synthes in Amersfoort and Utrecht, Netherlands. You will support end-to-end supply chain activities, coordinate transportation, and ensure accurate inventory while working in a collaborative warehouse environment.

This role requires strong attention to detail, English proficiency, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced setting with occasional lifting of boxes.

Qualifications

• Education: lower secondary education level (ISCED 2) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent education.
• Logistics experience preferred; background in logistics/warehouse with shipping and documentation is a plus.
• Familiarity with logistics software, inventory management tools, and carrier platforms (e.g., DHL) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to inventory accuracy.
• Fluent English, written and verbal, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, transportation, distribution, and inventory processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components.
• Coordinate transportation activities, plan routes, schedules, and execution.
• Monitor shipments, address delays, and resolve logistics issues.
• Support inventory optimization to minimize shortages and excess stock.
• Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts for accuracy.
• Analyze demand forecasts and adjust inventory levels as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements for logistics operations.
• Coordinate with production, sales and customer service for efficient operations.
