Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Logistics Process Owner to optimize material supply processes in Leiden. You will analyze logistics workflows, develop SOPs, and collaborate with warehouse, planning and operations teams to drive improvements in distribution and inventory management.

The role requires strong analytical skills, regulatory awareness, and experience with logistics software. English and Dutch language proficiency are preferred for cross-border coordination and site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing logistics processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risks.
• SOPs: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for distribution processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and periodic reviews.
• Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, resolve issues, and drive alignment.
• Technology Utilization: Identify and evaluate TMS/WMS or other automation tools to enhance logistics processes.
• KPIs: Define, track, and monitor logistics metrics to assess performance and provide regular reports to management.
• Continuous Improvement: Continually evaluate logistics processes and performance metrics to drive improvements.
