Job summary

DePuy Synthes is seeking a Logistics Associate at our Amersfoort, Netherlands site to support end-to-end supply chain activities, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain inventory integrity. You will work with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize processes and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires strong analytical skills, English fluency, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Education: ISCED 2 in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent
• Experience: logistics/warehouse background with shipping and logistics documentation preferred
• English: fluent (written and spoken) and strong communication across functions

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end supply chain activities: procurement, transportation, distribution, and inventory processes
• Collaborate with suppliers/vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Coordinate transportation activities: route planning, schedules, and delivery execution
• Monitor shipments and address delays and logistics issues
• Support inventory optimization to minimize shortages and excess inventory
• Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts for accuracy
• Analyze demand forecasts and adjust inventory levels accordingly
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations
• Partner with production, sales, customer service and other stakeholders for coordination
• Assist teams in resolving logistics challenges and improving processes
