Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Born, Netherlands, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the inside department, driving KPIs and coaching 2 Assistant Warehouse Supervisors and 40 Operators. You will apply LEAN methods—Kaizen, 5S and Six Sigma—to optimize processes while maintaining a safe, motivated workplace.

You will report to the Operations Manager, manage shifts from 07:00 to 21:00 (with possible morning/evening shifts), and collaborate to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level.
• Leadership experience within logistics.
• Strong social and communication skills.
• Experience with process improvements (LEAN).
• Dutch and English language proficiency (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the quantitative and qualitative progress of the logistics process towards the customer.
• Lead your team and support, coach, and develop them to an even higher level.
• Determine capacity and staffing requirements based on forecasting and KPIs.
• Analyze your team’s results and investigate and resolve any deviations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and proactively implement them within the LEAN philosophy.
• Ensure that employees work in a safe and organized environment and come to work with a smile.
