Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Zaandam seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to manage inbound, expedition and outbound operations for two customers. You will lead a team of 18-20 colleagues, drive KPI achievement, and continuously improve through Lean methods such as Kaizen, 5S and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• MBO/HBO level education or equivalent.
• Affinity with leadership and logistics environment.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives, preferably Lean.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Managing, coaching, developing and evaluating the assistant supervisors and employees in your team.
• Leading the daily operations and responsible for achieving KPIs and plans.
• Making right decisions for an optimal overall process.
• Optimizing the efficiency of people and resources.
• Carrying out measurements, making reports and analyses.
• Conducting performance and assessment interviews, absence counseling.
