Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Nijmegen is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate a team of about 10 warehouse operators, applying LEAN principles to boost efficiency and maintain order and safety.

You will lead daily tasks, collaborate with peers and the supervisor, and cover duties when the supervisor is absent. Shifts run 7:00–16:00 and 16:00–01:00, with a base in Nijmegen serving bol.com.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in logistics, retail, or FMCG.
• Understanding of warehousing and automated information systems.
• Good command of English language, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~10 warehouse operators daily, coordinating tasks and monitoring productivity.
• Apply LEAN principles to improve processes and maintain order and safety in the department and warehouse.
• Provide input to the supervisor for planning, progress and evaluation; in absence of supervisor, assume duties.
