Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to manage the inbound, expedition and outbound activities at the Zaandam site. You will coach a team of 18-20 colleagues and 3 Assistant Supervisors, driving KPI achievement within a Lean, safe environment.

You will lead daily operations, optimize processes, and collaborate to make optimal decisions for the overall workflow. English fluency and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• MBO/HBO level education or higher.
• Affinity with leadership and logistics, preferably in contract logistics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives, Lean environment preferred.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, develop and evaluate assistant supervisors and staff.
• Lead daily operations and ensure KPIs and plans are achieved.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize the overall process for an efficient operation.
• Improve efficiency of people and resources."
• Carry out measurements, generate reports and analyses.
• Conduct performance and assessment interviews and absence counseling.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment following lean/5S principles.
