Job summary

Canon Production Printing, based in Venlo, NL, is seeking a driven engineer to advance Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement across our capital goods production lines. You will translate R&D innovations into scalable manufacturing processes while coordinating with German supply centres.

You will work in a hybrid setup, liaising with R&D and production teams to optimize assembly sequences, reduce lead times, and ensure high product quality in a dynamic high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable.
• About 3-7 years work experience in a relevant role within a production/assembly environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Profound knowledge of Dutch is highly advantageous.
• Permissioned to work in the Netherlands, no relocation needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Manufacturing improvements and agile approaches for capital goods across the value chain.
• Collaborate with R&D in The Netherlands and with supply centres in Germany to implement DFx and optimal assembly sequences.
• Design and implement improvements to existing assembly lines to shorten lead times and improve product quality.
• Translate innovations from R&D into full-scale lean manufacturing operations at production facilities.
