Job summary

Canon Production Printing in Venlo, the Netherlands, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold high-tech production uptime. You will deploy Value Driven Maintenance across production lines, emphasizing asset utilization and cost control, while coordinating with Technical Services and Equipment Engineering teams.

Flexibility for hybrid work and strong electrotechnical skills are essential. The role requires hands-on PLC/SCADA experience, data analysis, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master degree in technical field is required.
• Experience in maintenance aspects within an industrial production or process environment.
• Strong electrotechnical background with line control systems (PLC/SCADA).
• Experience with maintenance management systems.
• Affinity with process technology and installations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve uptime of production lines.
• Deploy Value Driven Maintenance approach (Asset Utilization, Cost Control, SHEQ, CAPEX).
• Analyze and solve complex breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Define and roll out preventive maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with service contractors and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure safety, environmental compliance and Canon standards.
