Job summary

DNV in Benelux seeks a Head of Section for Solar & Battery Storage to lead the team, foster strong customer relationships and own delivery across the full project lifecycle. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of experience in consulting, professional services, renewable energy or another relevant customer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated people-leadership experience, including coaching, prioritization and creating the conditions for a team to perform and develop.
• Experience with project delivery and operational management, such as planning, utilization, forecasting, quality or financial follow-up.
• A strong customer and commercial orientation, with the ability to understand needs and turn them into practical solutions.
• An active interest in AI and digital tools, ideally supported by examples of improving services, processes or customer outcomes.
• Fluency in English is required; Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a diverse team with clear expectations and accountability.
• Build trusted customer relationships and shape solutions, prepare proposals and deliver high-quality assignments.
• Stay close to projects, identify risks early, remove obstacles and support delivery.
• Own resource planning, utilization, forecasting, project performance and administration of the section.
• Maintain strong sales focus by managing opportunities, pursuits and proposals.
• Drive responsible use of AI, data and digital tools to improve services and value.
• Collaborate across sections, departments and regions to ensure consistent customer experience.
