Job summary

DNV is seeking a Head of Department for Solar & Battery Storage in Northern Europe. You will lead a 36-strong team across the region, shape strategy, and translate it into measurable growth and value for customers in renewables.

You will drive service innovation, AI adoption, and cross-country collaboration to deliver actionable outcomes and strengthen DNV’s trusted advisor position in the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience leading teams, including leaders, in an international environment.
• Experience developing advisory or professional services and building a sales pipeline.
• Professional fluency in English; other Northern European languages are a plus.
• Practical understanding of how AI and digital tools can enhance consulting services.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the department strategy for Renewables Northern Europe and Energy Systems.
• Own financial and operational performance of the department.
• Lead and develop Line Managers within the department.
• Develop differentiated, scalable consulting services and measurable business results.
• Drive responsible AI, data and digital tool adoption across consulting, sales and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-location teams to deepen customer relationships and create new opportunities.
