Job summary

Seequent is seeking a Team Lead, Software Engineering in Delft, Netherlands, offering hybrid work with two days in the Delft office. You will lead a team delivering complex user-facing cloud applications, while remaining hands-on in coding and reviews.

The role requires a Bachelors in CS or related field, 7+ years in software engineering (Senior), plus 1+ year of people-management experience. Strong Python/React, cloud, and DB expertise are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field.
7+ years of software engineering experience including Senior role.
1+ years of formal people management with direct reports.
Proven full-stack experience with Python and/or React.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and scalable apps.
Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Proven ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and maintain high code quality.
Strong communication and stakeholder-influencing skills in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of complex, user-facing cloud apps.
Provide architectural guidance and evaluate design trade-offs.
Remain hands-on with coding and code reviews to set quality standards.
Allocate work and coach team members for effective delivery.
Lead medium-scale projects from definition to completion using PM methods.
Manage risks and changes aligned with governance and priorities.
Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders and monitor quality, budgets, and timelines.
