Job summary

Sioux Group in the Netherlands is seeking a Software Tech Lead to provide day-to-day technical leadership for a software team developing high-tech products and machines.

You will steer software architecture, enable continuous build and integration, and collaborate with customers and the Development Center Manager. The role requires a strong background in embedded software and experience leading teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of experience in technical (embedded) software development, including leading or guiding a software team.
• Proven knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies and the ability to organize team activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the software team.
• Prepare and facilitate Scrum activities (planning, reviews, demos) and maintain related administration.
• Safeguard and develop technical content (requirements, design, architecture, implementation decisions).
• Set up and improve the software development environment (CI/CD, build automation, config management).
• Communicate with customers and the Development Center Manager.
• Monitor progress, quality, risks, and technical coherence; initiate corrective actions.
