Job summary

NRL is looking for experienced Life Sciences Construction Schedulers/Planners for on-site roles in the Netherlands. Ideal candidates will manage project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery. A strong background in the pharmaceutical sector and at least 10 years of experience in scheduling or planning is required.

You will lead project schedules, oversee subcontract packages, and run planning meetings to meet contract requirements. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ planning or scheduling experience.
• Strong experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Ability to lead a team or work as part of a planning team.
• Experience in multi-user P6 environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project schedules for EPCMV scopes.
• Oversee sub‑contract packages and work closely with subcontractors.
• Organise and run planning and coordination meetings.
• Review design deliverables and manage mobilisation activities.
• Develop and manage earned value progress reporting systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and documents.

We are hiring experienced Schedulers and Planners to support life sciences construction projects in the Netherlands. These roles are ideal for professionals with a strong pharmaceutical background who can manage project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.

Location and Working Pattern: Netherlands – on‑site

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project schedules for EPCMV scopes
• Oversee sub‑contract packages and work closely with subcontractors
• Organise and run planning and coordination meetings
• Review design deliverables and manage mobilisation activities
• Develop and manage earned value progress reporting systems
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and documents
• Work within broader project controls and meet contract requirements

Must‑have Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ planning or scheduling experience
• Strong experience in the pharmaceutical sector
• Ability to lead a team or work as part of a planning team
• Skilled with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and MS Office Suite
• Experience in multi‑user P6 environments
• Good knowledge of project controls and contract milestones
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)

Nice‑to‑have Skills

• Last Planner experience
• Familiarity with 4D BIM (beneficial, but not essential)
