Job summary

GH Engage is seeking an experienced Lead Planner in Amsterdam to drive detailed construction programmes for major Data Centre projects across Europe. You will collaborate with project teams to develop, monitor and manage plans from pre-construction through to completion.

The role requires strong planning skills, on-site coordination and the ability to manage budgeting and change control across large-scale engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
• 3-5+ years' experience in a planning role, ideally within M&E, Data Centres, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical or large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes.
• Produce fully resource-loaded schedules and monitor project KPIs.
• Track planned vs actual progress using earned value analysis.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards and project metrics.
• Work alongside construction teams to identify programme risks and manage change control.
• Attend client and internal project meetings.
• Monitor project budgets against programme changes and scope growth.
• Track fabrication and on-site installation progress.
• Monitor labour productivity and analyse spent vs earned hours.
• Produce weekly construction reports and look-ahead programmes for project teams and stakeholders.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Lead Planners to join a leading engineering contractor delivering some of Europe's largest Data Centre projects.

About the Role

As a Lead Planner, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale Data Centre projects, working closely with project teams to develop, monitor and manage construction programmes from pre-construction through to project completion.
