Job summary

STICHD is seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead packaging development from concept to production for international brands. You will translate briefs into package solutions that are visually aligned, technically correct, functional and commercially viable.

The role combines hands-on design with supplier coordination and documentation—balancing cost, quality, sustainability and compliance. Based in Den Bosch, the position requires 5+ years of experience, a relevant degree, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 5+ years of hands-on packaging development experience.
• Experience managing packaging from brief through artwork, sampling and production.
• Strong knowledge of structural and graphic packaging, materials, print processes and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Own packaging projects from brief through concept development, artwork and production release.
• Develop structural packaging concepts, dielines and technical specs for fit and manufacturability.
• Coordinate prototypes, samples and validation through SMS and bulk approvals.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, Marketing, Sourcing, Sustainability and Compliance.
• Provide guidance to suppliers and maintain accurate packaging documentation and BOMs.
