Job summary

STICHD is seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead packaging developments from concept to production across international brands. The role focuses on structural concepts, dielines, artwork, sampling, validation and supplier support, balancing design with cost, sustainability and compliance.

You will work on ownership of packaging projects, collaborate with product management, sourcing and sustainability, and coordinate with global manufacturing partners to ensure quality and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in packaging/industrial design or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on packaging development experience.
• Experience managing packaging from brief to production.

Responsibilities

• Own packaging projects from brief through concept, artwork, prototyping and production release.
• Develop structural packaging concepts, dielines and technical specifications.
• Create and review production-ready artwork meeting brand and supplier requirements.
• Coordinate prototypes, samples and validation through SMS and bulk approvals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align requirements and approvals.
• Guide global manufacturing partners with technical support during production.
• Identify risks and costs early and propose practical solutions.
• Maintain accurate specs, approvals and documentation.
• Manage packaging BOMs and final releases in PLM.
• Research market/materials to support innovation and feasibility.
