Job summary

D2m Services in the Netherlands is seeking a Naval Engineer specializing in Naval Architecture to strengthen its offshore engineering team. You will design and optimise floating production units, with focus on FPSOs, spanning from concept through FEED and EPCI, in an international, multidisciplinary environment.

The role offers technical leadership opportunities, including potential to become Discipline Lead Engineer and to coordinate a small team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent.
• 7+ years in naval architecture for complex floating units.
• Experience with FPSOs, FSOs or related offshore vessels.

Responsibilities

• Naval architecture design from concept through detailed engineering.
• Perform loading and stability calculations for floating units.
• Design accommodation, deck equipment and lifesaving equipment.
• Contribute to FEED/EPIC projects and shipyard interfaces.
• Coordinate with marine systems, electrical/instrumentation, piping and safety teams.
• Potentially serve as Discipline Lead Engineer (DLE) for a small team.
