Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Kit Operations Manager to lead the daily operation of the Value-Added Services function within a regulated logistics environment in the Netherlands. You will drive operational excellence, manage budgets, develop high-performing teams, and ensure quality, safety, customer satisfaction and financial performance.

Travel is around 10%. The role offers incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package alongside base salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or distribution management.
• Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
• Experience applying Lean or other continuous improvement methodologies to operational improvement.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and capacity planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting operational integrations, centralisation projects, mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale business growth initiatives.
• Experience working within a medical device or regulated environment operating to ISO 13485 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the Value-Added Services function, ensuring service, quality, safety, and productivity targets are achieved.
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to deliver annual financial objectives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures and quality systems that comply with medical device industry standards and environmental requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, customer experience, and operational performance.
• Partner with internal and external customers to resolve operational issues, improve service levels, and support long-term business relationships.
• Build, coach, and develop operational teams to strengthen capability, engagement, retention, and succession planning.
• Lead infrastructure, equipment, process, and technology improvements to support operational scalability and future growth.
• Oversee emergency preparedness activities, including response planning, training, drills, incident reviews, and coordination with external emergency services.
