Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Netherlands is seeking a Manager, Process Engineering to lead the engineering efforts for CAR-T cell therapy production at the Leiden facility. The role requires overseeing the process engineering team, ensuring 24/7 operational readiness and collaboration with MSAT and Quality teams.

Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, managing complex investigations, and coordinating with Manufacturing, QA, and Supply Chain to ensure compliant, cost-effective delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant science or engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cGMP biologics manufacturing, preferably cell therapy.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to influence at all levels in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Process Engineering activities for CAR-T cell therapy production.
• Collaborate with SMEs across Validation, MES/Automation, Manufacturing and Quality.
• Drive process improvements and changes ensuring compliance with quality systems.
