Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Netherlands is seeking a Manager, Process Engineering to lead the Process Engineering team at the Leiden facility, ensuring 24/7 production for CAR-T cell therapy products for clinical trials and commercial supply.

You will collaborate with SMEs across Validation, MES/Automation, Manufacturing and Quality to deliver compliant, cost-effective processes and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced biologics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or engineering field.
• At least 8 years of experience in cGMP biologics manufacturing, preferably cell therapy.
• Strong leadership, collaboration across functions, and ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee process engineering activities to optimize end-to-end manufacturing.
• Guide investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls with regulatory compliance.
• Lead cross-functional teams with SMEs in Manufacturing, QA, and Supply Chain.
• Coordinate readiness for regulatory inspections and site readiness for campaigns.
• Ensure on-time implementation of new technologies and process improvements.
