Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Leiden is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing, Cell Therapy to lead a manufacturing team in our cell therapy facility, ensuring safe, compliant, on-schedule operations. You will coach on the floor, drive cGMP compliance, and partner with Quality, MSAT, Supply Chain, and Engineering to deliver right-first-time manufacturing.

Candidates bring 5+ years in cGMP cell therapy or bioprocessing and at least 1 year of people leadership; HBO in science is required for this

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cGMP cell therapy manufacturing.
• At least 1 year of team leadership experience.
• HBO in science or equivalent required for this Netherlands-based role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a manufacturing team to ensure safe, compliant, on-schedule operations.
• Coach on the floor, troubleshoot issues, and sustain right-first-time execution.
• Maintain GMP documentation and support audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with QA, MSAT, Supply Chain, Facilities, IT, and EHS&S to resolve issues and deliver the schedule.
• Drive continuous improvement and capture knowledge in procedures and training materials.
• Manage staffing, capacity, and performance management for your area.
