Job summary

Hug Engineering is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to lead the engineering of skid-mounted exhaust aftertreatment systems. You will own design, layout, and documentation, coordinating with customers and suppliers.

Requirements include a mechanical engineering degree with 3+ years in skid-mounted designs, strong CAD/PLM skills, and willingness to travel monthly to customers, suppliers, and Hug’s Swiss HQ. Fluency in English is advantageous, Dutch is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Requires an engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in designing skid-mounted systems.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and PLM/BOM workflows is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to customers, suppliers and Hug HQ in Switzerland about monthly.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities with project management focus, defining scope, objectives and budgets.
• Own design and integration of skid-mounted exhaust aftertreatment systems.
• Develop project layouts using CAD and prepare technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UL, ASME, AWS, DIN, EN, ISO and related standards.
