Kathmandu Kitchen Haarlem is immediately looking for an Independent Working Chef (M/F).

Job Description and Tasks

• Independent chef for preparing Indian dishes
• Location: Kathmandu Kitchen Haarlem, Rijksstraatweg 93 2024 DB Haarlem
• Employment type: Full‑time (38 hours per week)
• Salary indication: €2517 gross per month excluding holiday pay
• Employment conditions compliant with the catering industry CAO
• Perform preparatory work such as washing, cutting, (pre) cooking, mixing, stirring, etc.
• Assess quality of products/ingredients (freshness, shelf life, etc.) and prepare tools
• Execute preparations while monitoring and controlling quality, doneness, taste, color, fluidity, etc., and make adjustments/additions
• Make orders ready to serve by performing à la minute cooking tasks, portioning, and garnishing
• Supervise the work of assistants, providing guidance and instructions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, Occupational Health and Safety, HACCP, and housekeeping standards (house style)

Your Profile
