Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam zoekt een Junior Sous Chef bij Carstens Café. Je ondersteunt de keukenleiding bij dagelijkse werkzaamheden en levert consistente, hoge kwaliteit gerechten in een drukke, gezellige omgeving.

Je ontwikkelt jezelf onder ervaren chefs, coacht junior teamleden en werkt flexibel mee aan ontbijt, lunch, diner en events. Ervaring in een hotel- of restaurantkeuken en passie voor verse ingrediënten zijn welkom.

Qualifications

• Er is geen minimale opleiding vereist.
• Je beheerst Engels.

Responsibilities

• Ondersteunt de keukenleiding bij dagelijkse werkzaamheden.
• Leidt en coacht junior teamleden.
• Zorgt voor voedselveiligheid volgens HACCP en keukenstandaarden.
• Draagt bij aan de bereiding van hoogwaardige gerechten onder druk.

Are you the perfect match?

• You have experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a busy restaurant, hotel, or high-volume kitchen
• You are passionate about fresh, seasonal ingredients and delivering consistently high-quality dishes
• You support the Chef and Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen and enjoy leading by example
• You have experience supervising, coaching, or training junior team members
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain organised under pressure
• You have a good understanding of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen operational standards
• You are flexible and willing to support different service periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events when required
• Your biggest motivation is creating memorable dining experiences and exceeding guest expectations
