Are you passionate about innovation and electronics hardware design, and do you enjoy taking the lead in technical development? As a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer, you will work on designing and developing high-quality hardware for mechatronic control systems, high-tech solutions, and consumer electronics.

What will you be doing?

As a senior electronics hardware engineer, you will work on designing, developing, and improving high-quality hardware designs for innovative client projects. You will be actively involved in the entire development process: from concept to prototype and mass production.

You will work within a technical team comprising hardware engineers, software engineers, and project management, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central.

In this role, you will be responsible for, among other things:

Designing electronics hardware: from concept, hardware architecture, and schematics to prototypes.

Translating customer requirements into technical and functional specifications and a tangible product.

Optimizing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) to improve production and testability.

Solving complex hardware design challenges in a pragmatic and structured manner.

Coaching and mentoring fellow engineers within the team (technical leadership).

What do we offer?

Challenging and varied projects in the field of high-tech electronics.

The opportunity to work in an environment where your technical expertise makes a real difference.

Plenty of room for your own input, innovation, and improvement.

The chance to collaborate with enthusiastic and driven engineers in a casual atmosphere.

A competitive salary commensurate with your experience as a senior hardware engineer.

30 days of vacation (based on full-time employment).

Travel allowance and a good pension plan (50/50).

Who are we looking for?

For this senior hardware engineer position, we are looking for an experienced professional with:

A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, embedded systems, mechatronics, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in electronics hardware development and PCB design.

Strong knowledge of hardware design, microcontrollers, and analog/digital technology.

Experience translating customer requirements into technical solutions and products.

A pragmatic and analytical work style: ability to adapt quickly and make well-reasoned decisions.

Experience with embedded software, VHDL, simulation software, and/or RF technology (preferred).

Knowledge of tools such as Altium and/or OrCAD is a plus.

Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.

Proactive attitude with a focus on project objectives and team results.

Ability to perform effectively both independently and as part of a team.
