Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Tilburg seeks a Team Leader Freight Forwarder – Road to guide a 10-person team and support daily operations across international road transport. You will coach staff and resolve escalations while building strong relations with partners and DSV locations abroad.

You will monitor priorities across countries under your responsibility and strengthen international ties through partner visits, contributing to continuous improvement and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a freight forwarder with international road transport.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week).
• Experience or ability in coaching and leadership is an advantage.

Are you an experienced freight forwarder or transport planner ready to take the next step towards leadership? At DSV in Tilburg you will use your knowledge of international road transport to lead a team of 10 colleagues, support daily operations, coach staff, resolve escalations and build strong relationships with partners and DSV locations abroad.

Responsibilities

• Coach, guide and develop the team, encouraging continuous improvement.
• Monitor daily operations, priorities and progress in the countries under your responsibility.
• Resolve escalations and complex transport issues with customers, carriers, partners and international locations.
• Strengthen international relationships and visit partners abroad to establish agreements and deepen collaborations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a freight forwarder with international road transport.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Full‑time availability (40 hours per week) and willingness to be visibly present for the team.
• Experience or ability in coaching and leadership is an advantage.
