Job summary

DSV Road in Ede is looking for a Junior Freight Forwarder to start a career in international logistics. You will learn how to organize shipments end-to-end, build relationships with customers and partners, and coordinate with DSV colleagues across borders.

The role combines learning with hands-on practice in a dynamic team. As you grow, you’ll handle routes, deadlines and country-specific regulations, while communicating daily with customers and hauliers.

Qualifications

• Basic communication skills in Dutch and English; eagerness to learn freight forwarding.
• Interest in international logistics and road transport dynamics.
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks.
• Curiosity and resilience to adapt when plans change.

Responsibilities

• Learn to organize international shipments from A to Z.
• Identify the best transport solutions considering routes, capacity and deadlines.
• Communicate daily with customers, hauliers, partners and DSV colleagues abroad.
• Stay calm and adapt plans quickly under pressure.
