Job summary

Picnic Technologies in Amsterdam is seeking a Product Designer for our consumer team to own the design of the core mobile app used by hundreds of thousands in NL, DE and FR. You’ll collaborate with UX researchers and product owners, create prototypes, and contribute to design libraries in a fast-scaling environment.

We value autonomy, collaboration, and curiosity. On-site full-time in Amsterdam HQ with open opportunities for growth and a strong emphasis on user-centered design.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in a relevant design field.
• 0-3 years of UX design experience or strong interest in building great products.
• Portfolio with user-centered design cases showing problem solving.
• Curiosity to understand customers and hands-on exploratory research experience.
• Proficiency with Figma and ability to craft high-fidelity designs that fit the design system.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of new features from start to finish.
• Sharpen briefs based on explorative research with UX researchers and product owners.
• Build low and high fidelity prototypes for weekly user testing.
• Document final design requirements for developers during development.
• Contribute to design libraries and system maintenance.
• Explore new ideas to initiate projects and improvements.
