Job summary

Virtuagym is seeking a Junior IT Support Specialist to join our international IT team in Amsterdam. You will provide day-to-day IT support, help automate internal processes, and gain hands-on experience with hardware, software, access management and security.

You bring a recent IT qualification or degree and a service-minded, proactive attitude. You will collaborate across teams, learn scripting basics, and contribute to improving our IT operations from day one.

Qualifications

• Completed IT-related degree or diploma (MBO4/BSc).
• Experience with IT support or IT operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS is preferred.
• Interest in scripting languages (PowerShell or Python) and automation.
• Strong communication skills and service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to colleagues across the organisation.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and manage accounts/access.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and IT asset management.
• Support system maintenance, updates and configurations.
• Contribute to automation and tooling to improve IT processes.
• Create and maintain IT documentation and support articles.
