Job summary

The role is hybrid (3 days in the office) and full-time (40 hours per week). You will perform core depositary activities, oversee cash flows, asset safekeeping, and fund oversight in a regulated environment, collaborating closely with senior colleagues to deliver high-standard client

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
• Initial professional experience within depositary services, investment funds, banking, financial services, or a similar regulated environment.
• Experience coordinating projects, mentoring colleagues, or leading small initiatives is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performing and reviewing core depositary activities, including cash flow monitoring, asset safekeeping, and oversight functions.
• Monitoring and reconciling fund cash accounts on a daily basis, identifying and escalating any unusual or inconsistent transactions.
• Conducting asset safekeeping controls by verifying, documenting, and maintaining records of assets held by the fund or by the fund manager on behalf of the fund.
• Carrying out oversight activities to ensure that fund operations and transactions comply with applicable regulations, fund documentation, and internal procedures.
• Preparing and reviewing depositary work in line with the four-eyes principle, ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory adherence.
• Collaborating closely with Senior Depositary Officers and Depositary Directors to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Acting as a trusted partner to clients, providing high-quality service and support on depositary-related matters.

The salary range for this specific role will be € 45.000 – € 50.000 gross per year.
The final salary will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and role scope, in line with our objective and gender-neutral compensation framework.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• A Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
• Initial professional experience within depositary services, investment funds, banking, financial services, or a similar regulated environment. Experience coordinating projects, mentoring colleagues, or leading small initiatives is considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders.
• A team-oriented mindset, combined with a high level of energy, motivation, adaptability, and a solution-driven approach.
• A commitment to fostering an open, collaborative, and integrity-driven culture where professionalism and mutual respect are at the core of everything you do.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the AIFMD, UCITS framework, and the Dutch regulatory landscape is advantageous but not essential.
