Job summary

CSC in Amsterdam or Maarsbergen is seeking a Junior Depositary Service Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid work (3 days in the office) and 40 hours per week.

The role involves core depositary activities, cash flow monitoring, asset safekeeping, and oversight to ensure regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with senior staff to deliver excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s HBO or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
• Fluency in English and Dutch required.
• Experience in depositary services or related regulated environment preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Performing and reviewing core depositary activities, including cash flow monitoring, asset safekeeping, and oversight functions.
• Monitoring and reconciling fund cash accounts daily, identifying and escalating unusual transactions.
• Conducting asset safekeeping controls by verifying and documenting assets held by the fund or manager.
• Carrying out oversight activities to ensure fund operations comply with regulations and procedures.
• Preparing and reviewing depositary work in line with the four-eyes principle, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Collaborating with Senior Depositary Officers and Depositary Directors to build strong client relationships.

The salary range for this specific role will be € 45.000 – € 50.000 gross per year.
The final salary will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and role scope, in line with our objective and gender-neutral compensation framework.

• Preparing and reviewing depositary work in line with the four-eyes principle, ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory adherence.
• Collaborating closely with Senior Depositary Officers and Depositary Directors to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Acting as a trusted partner to clients, providing high-quality service and support on depositary-related matters.
• Contributing as a key member of a collaborative team environment focused on delivering exceptional client service and operational excellence.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• A Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
• Initial professional experience within depositary services, investment funds, banking, financial services, or a similar regulated environment. Experience coordinating projects, mentoring colleagues, or leading small initiatives is considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders.
• A team-oriented mindset, combined with a high level of energy, motivation, adaptability, and a solution-driven approach.
• A commitment to fostering an open, collaborative, and integrity-driven culture where professionalism and mutual respect are at the core of everything you do.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the AIFMD, UCITS framework, and the Dutch regulatory landscape is advantageous but not essential.
