Job summary

CSC is seeking a Depositary Service Officer in Amsterdam (or Maarsbergen) on a 1-year fixed-term contract, with hybrid work (3 days in the office) and full-time hours (40h/week). The final salary ranges from €45,000 to €55,000 gross per year, determined by skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Education: HBO or University degree in accountancy, business, finance or related discipline.
• Experience: At least 2 years in depositary, banking or fund services environment; managerial/team-leader role preferred.
• Skills: strong communication, energy, motivation, tenacity and agility.
• Regulatory: familiarity with Dutch regulatory environment and AIFMD/UCITS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform Depositary tasks for fund clients and report to Head of Depositary.
• Lead bi-annual and annual evaluation cycles for team.
• Oversee cash flow monitoring, asset safekeeping and oversight procedures.
• Ensure timely reporting to clients.
• Assist onboarding of new clients and fund launches/migrations.
• Support integration of CSCD and CSC Depositary in Amsterdam.
• Help optimize internal processes and participate in organization-wide projects.
• Collaborate with Depositary directors and CSC leadership to grow Netherlands Depositary business.

Depositary Service Officer

Type of Job: 1-year fixed term contract before permanent. Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office.

Hours: Full time (40h/week) The salary range for this specific role will be € 45.000 – € 55.000 gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, and role scope, in line with our objective and gender-neutral compensation framework.

Purpose of the job

The Officer Depositary will be responsible to perform Depositary tasks for our fund clients. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team reporting directly to the Head of Depositary.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the bi-annually and yearly evaluation cycle of his/her team
• Completion and review of depositary activities including cashflow monitoring, asset safekeeping and oversight procedures
• Ensure the timely provision of reporting to the clients
• Operate as a key part of the team to deliver a client focused, high quality service
• Assist with the onboarding of new clients, both from a fund launch and fund migration perspective
• Contribute to the integration of CSCD and the CSC Depositary organization in Amsterdam
• Optimize internal processes and contribute to organization-wide projects
• Reports to the Depositary directors and works closely with the rest of the CSC leadership team on a strategic, tactical and operational level to achieve the ambitions of CSC Netherlands and to continue to develop CSC's Depositary business

Qualification / Experience required

• Preferable HBO or University degree in accountancy, business, finance or related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant prior working experience, preferably in the field of depositary, banking or fund services environment and in a managerial/team leader role
• Team player, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with a high level of energy, motivation, tenacity and agility
• Safekeeper of a honest, people based culture
• Excellent in time management and priority setting
• Familiarity with the AIFMD, UCITS and Dutch regulatory environment are advantageous
• Fluent in English is required and a strong command of Dutch
