Job summary

CSC is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our depositary team on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a path to permanency. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the Amsterdam office, and offers full-time hours (40 per week).

Responsibilities

• Perform and review core depositary activities including cash flow monitoring and asset safekeeping.
• Monitor and reconcile fund cash accounts daily and escalate irregularities.
• Conduct asset safekeeping controls and maintain asset records.
• Carry out oversight to ensure fund operations comply with regulations and procedures.
• Prepare and review depositary work following the four-eyes principle for accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Collaborate with Senior Depositary Officers and Directors to maintain client relationships.

Some of the things you'll be doing

• Performing and reviewing core depositary activities, including cash flow monitoring, asset safekeeping, and oversight functions.
• Monitoring and reconciling fund cash accounts on a daily basis, identifying and escalating any unusual or inconsistent transactions.
• Conducting asset safekeeping controls by verifying, documenting, and maintaining records of assets held by the fund or by the fund manager on behalf of the fund.
• Carrying out oversight activities to ensure that fund operations and transactions comply with applicable regulations, fund documentation, and internal procedures.
• Preparing and reviewing depositary work in line with the four-eyes principle, ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory adherence.
• Collaborating closely with Senior Depositary Officers and Depositary Directors to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Acting as a trusted partner to clients, providing high-quality service and support on depositary-related matters.
• Contributing as a key member of a collaborative team environment focused on delivering exceptional client service and operational excellence.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• A Bachelor's (HBO) or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
• Initial professional experience within depositary services, investment funds, banking, financial services, or a similar regulated environment. Experience coordinating projects, mentoring colleagues, or leading small initiatives is considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders.
• A team-oriented mindset, combined with a high level of energy, motivation, adaptability, and a solution-driven approach.
• A commitment to fostering an open, collaborative, and integrity-driven culture where professionalism and mutual respect are at the core of everything you do.
