Job summary

Allseas Delft is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to transform raw data into insights using Azure, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Power BI. You will build and maintain ETL pipelines, real-time data flows, and a data lakehouse architecture while ensuring governance and data quality.

You will collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, translate business needs into scalable data solutions, and grow your technical skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data Management or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Understanding of databases, data modelling, data warehousing or ETL.
• Good communication in English.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure services, with Databricks.
• Support data lakehouse architecture with Delta Lake.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Apply data governance and quality standards.
• Monitor and optimise data pipelines.
• Develop scalable ETL batch processing patterns.
