Job summary

Exact Software in Delft is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and storage solutions. You will partner with BI specialists and cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and availability for analytics and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Data Science/engineering.
• Around 2 years of relevant data engineer experience.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform (Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric).
• Strong SQL, data modelling and ETL development skills.
• Experience with Python and Power BI is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git and basic data governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for data quality and availability.
• Build and manage databases, data warehouses, and data lakes with performance in mind.
• Develop data integration solutions and transform data for analytics.
• Monitor data infrastructure and implement automation to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with BI specialists and stakeholders to meet data needs.
• Document architectures, data models, and workflows for maintenance.
