Job summary

Devoteam NL is seeking a talented Databricks Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain cutting-edge data pipelines across client projects. You will work with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality data platforms on Databricks.

The role requires 2+ years of data engineering experience with Databricks, strong Python/Scala skills, and cloud proficiency in Azure, AWS, or GCP. Dutch language is a plus and collaboration is key.

Qualifications

• University degree in CS/engineering or ML/AI master's.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Strong programming skills in Python or Scala, with PySpark experience.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL, data modeling, and databases.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy robust data pipelines on Databricks.
• Utilize Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and Workflows to orchestrate data workflows.
• Integrate Databricks with cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP) for storage and compute.
• Contribute to data architecture for data lakes and warehouses.
• Implement data quality checks and governance across pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, BI, and business stakeholders.
• Stay updated with Databricks features and cloud trends.
