Job summary

Canon Production Printing in Venlo, Netherlands, is seeking an IT Helpdesk and IT Installations Specialist to advise users on hardware and software, specify equipment, gather specifications and pricing, coordinate installation activities, and deploy IT solutions across client and server systems.

You will provide user training and support during rollout, handle 1st- and 2nd-line support, monitor SLAs, escalate when needed, and work with internal IT teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of installing, configuring, and supporting client, server, and network systems including Microsoft environments.
• Experience in 1st and 2nd level support with structured troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of user account management and software licensing processes.
• Ability to align technical requirements with business needs and IT teams.
• Documentation-oriented work style with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advise users and user groups on IT hardware/software usage per policy.
• Specify required IT equipment and coordinate ordering and installation.
• Gather technical specifications, pricing, and vendor details.
• Coordinate installation activities and verify work performed.
• Collaborate with IS departments to ensure proper IT solutions.
• Install, configure, test, and deploy hardware and software for client and server systems.
• Provide user training and support during rollout and commissioning.
• Handle 1st- and 2nd-line support and monitor incidents per SLAs.
